About the Project

Located in the heart of Royal Docks, Expressway is at the centre of an area rapidly becoming known at New Docklands. Already home to 200 thriving businesses, many working as makers and manufacturers, the refurbished units at Expressway offer 115,000 sq ft of workspaces alongside communal reception, private workshop space for production, manufacturing and logistics. From versatile studio-offices to flexi-desk space, to maker workshops and to multi-use warehouses, Expressway is destined to be home of some of East London’s most interesting creative businesses.

Expressway prides itself on helping to build a circular economy to provide support to its Newham neighbours. Local graduates are provided with free desk space and business support, and Open Desk has provided locally sourced furniture throughout the common spaces.

Our Results

CF Commercial has been instructed to lease approximately 70,000 sq ft of workspace across 39 units ranging from smaller studios to largescale warehouses to complement the area’s creative businesses, makers and manufacturers. To date, CFC has leased various units to operators including Perky Blenders at Waterfront Studios, Awesome Shoes and Husk Brewing.
