CF Commercial has let the former Sports Bar on behalf of Rocket Investments Ltd at 1 City Road to Barworks on a new 25-year lease.  The premises are located at the intersection of creativity (Shoreditch), connectivity (Silicon Roundabout) and commerce (City) and comprises 6,027 sq ft of space across ground and lower ground floor levels.

Barworks is a well-respected company who operate a number of venues including The Diner, The Well & Bucket and Electricity Showrooms to name but a few.  1 City Road is to be set out in a similar fashion to Barworks’ Harrild & Sons with a gastropub at ground floor level with a 5cc cocktail bar below.  Due to open in time for Christmas.
