REVIEW | London N1 – Smokehouse

The Smokehouse is the newest venture from Scott Hunter and Maria Larsen, the pair behind the renowned gastropubs The Princess of Shoreditch, The Lady Ottoline and The Pig and Butcher in Islington. Neil Rankin, chef at the new restaurant, is known for his prior successful work in Pitt Cue and John Salt.

Opening their doors on the 17th August, they have been fully booked on a daily basis and inundated with good reviews. The revamped pub will have a strong focus on craft beer, alongside local ales and wines. As for the menu, the food will have a strong BBQ influence using a real wood and charcoal offset smoker.

CF Commercial’s Craig Fisher attended the opening night and has been highly recommending Smokehouse ever since.
