CF Commercial are appointed by the London Borough of Hackney to advise on occupier strategy and to lease the 8,000 sq ft of creative office workspace at the Westgate Centre, London Fields.
We were successful in responding to the growth in demand for creative workspace in London Fields, by letting the seven units to a variety of creative occupiers, which include: a creative branding agency, a sculptor, an innovative architectural material company and a multidisciplinary design studio.
Estates Gazette’s article Assembly Required featured the tenants of Westgate, where they speak about how the capital in cashing in on the growth in British manufacturing which has caused them to re-locate to London Fields;
‘Creative agency Village Green, the company behind the branding for the AlphaBeta building, EC2, moved from Old Street to London Fields in December after its previous council landlord decided to move tenants out and do a refurbishment. Creative director Seb Marling says workspace cost is very important because the company tends to be project based, and during his time in Old Street he’d seen rents double.’
